We're thrilled to announce another milestone for RADMAN™ with the United States Navy!
WMG, Inc. is proud to announce the implementation of RADMAN™ software at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNSY), supporting the Shipyard’s ongoing efforts to modernize and improve its shipping and logistics operations.
The implementation was recently highlighted in a U.S. Navy case study which details Portsmouth’s transition from manual and disconnected processes to commercially available shipping and logistics software. The new system provides a more streamlined digital workflow designed to reduce manual data entry, minimize the potential for human error, and improve the speed and efficiency of shipping operations.
RADMAN™ provides an integrated platform for managing the complex requirements associated with radioactive material and waste shipping. By bringing critical information and processes together within a single system, RADMAN™ helps organizations improve consistency, maintain regulatory compliance, and efficiently manage shipments from preparation through completion.
Portsmouth’s implementation builds on RADMAN™’s established use within the U.S. Navy and commercial nuclear industry. Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard has also implemented the technology, providing Portsmouth with an existing model as it evaluated options for modernizing its shipping processes.
