Nearly one-third of U.S. nuclear sites now leverage WMG's Shipping Command Center to streamline radioactive material shipments.
WMG is proud to announce that the RADMAN™ Shipping Command Center (SCC) is now supporting shipping operations at approximately 30% of domestic nuclear sites across the United States.
Since its introduction, the Shipping Command Center has continued to gain momentum as utilities seek to improve efficiency, reduce administrative burden, and ensure regulatory compliance throughout the radioactive material shipping process. Through a combination of advanced software tools and direct support from experienced shipping professionals, the SCC provides customers with a comprehensive solution for managing complex shipping activities.
The Shipping Command Center allows facilities to leverage WMG's expertise for shipment planning, documentation preparation, regulatory reviews, and ongoing operational support. By serving as an extension of a site's shipping organization, the SCC helps customers maintain compliance, improve consistency, and reduce the workload placed on internal resources.
"Reaching 30% adoption among domestic nuclear sites is a significant milestone for the Shipping Command Center," said J. Michael Reeves, Radwaste General Manager at WMG. "This achievement reflects the confidence our customers place in both the technology and expertise that WMG delivers. We're proud to support their operations and look forward to continuing to expand these services across the industry."
As the nuclear industry continues to face evolving regulatory requirements and workforce challenges, WMG remains committed to providing innovative solutions that help customers streamline operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.
