The American Academy of Health Physics (AAHP) - American Board of Health Physics (ABHP) has awarded preapproval Continuing Education Credits (CECs) for WMG's new radioactive shipping courses. These are approved for the next 4 years (2024 – 2027). The AAHP-ABHP renewed the preapproved CECs for our “Use of WMG RADMAN™ Program Course (RC-102)” for the years of 2023 – 2026. We are especially thrilled to be hosting this year’s user’s group meeting in-person, as COVID-19 made it impossible to do so last year. With so much happening in the industry, you definitely don’t want to miss this year’s Meeting! Participants will gain essential knowledge and skills necessary to ensure the safe and effective transportation of cargo by road, rail, or sea. The course covers the fundamentals of load distribution, center of gravity considerations, and the application of various blocking and bracing methods to prevent shifting or damage during transit. Skills Gained: • Identify regulators who control the safe and secure transport of radioactive class 7 materials. • Explain the reasons proper load securement is required. • Identify proper load securement techniques and equipment. • Apply the practices discussed to the North American Cargo Securement Standard. • Demonstrate an understanding of U.S. DOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety and Federal Highway Administration Rules and Regulations. • Describe how to safely load and secure specific types of commodities.

Some of Nick's duties and responsibilities include: Developing and maintaining WMG programs such as RADMAN™ Providing programming support and expertise for WMG webpages, portals, and other projects Supporting and assisting our RADMAN™ users Outside of work, Nick enjoys spending time with family and friends and collecting retro video game consoles, amongst other hobbies. Nick enjoys listening to punk rock, and his favorite vacation destination is Long Beach Island, where he makes annual trips to with his family. < Back 2020 RADMAN™ Users Group Meeting Update Mar 15, 2020 Unfortunately the July 2020 RADMAN™ Users Group Meeting has been cancelled. It is with great disappointment that we announce the cancellation of the 2020 WMG RADMAN™ Users Group Meeting. WMG always chooses locations and experiences for our RADMAN™ Users Group Meeting that we believe match or exceed our company’s mission and values. With input from our users at the 2019 WMG RADMAN™ Users Group Meeting, we originally chose Walt Disney World for our 2020 session. Disney’s outstanding customer service and phenomenal quality in everything they do had served us well during our 2011 meeting at the Yacht and Beach Club Resort and we were looking forward to another great experience at the resort this summer. Unfortunately, because of the Covid-19 virus outbreak, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 WMG RADMAN™ Users Group Meeting. The meeting was originally scheduled for the week of July 19th at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Disney has closed its resort until further notice, and we have not been given any indication of when or how Disney would re-open. We are confident Disney will re-open and continue to provide the once-in-a-lifetime experiences they always have, but we also know this will be a process and will take time and patience from everyone involved. WMG does not want to host an event that fails to meet our high standards and neither do we want to subject our customers to an event that could place their safety in jeopardy. If you have already booked reservations, please let us know if you need assistance cancelling. For all those users that have registered with WMG, we will be sending you a small token of appreciation for your continued loyalty. Please look for another e-mail notice to be sent officially announcing our plans for the 2021 WMG RADMAN™ Users Group Meeting and the possibility of having a Virtual Meeting in the near future to continue facilitating the exchange of information with your peers.
